The Apple Pie Tree

Two sisters observe the seasons of the year as they watch over the tree in their yard that grows the best part of an apple pie. In the winter the tree is brown and barren, in the spring it sprouts leaves and apple blossoms, in the summer the apples begin to grow, and in the fall the apples are picked and turned into apple pie.
